    Euro spots

hey all, i'm heading over to Europe (flying in to London) in 2 weeks and meeting a friend graduating from Academy of Circus Arts. we're going to kick around Euro-land for 2 weeks and i'd like to catch some acts while over there. i may perform a bit, if possible, but mostly this is just a vacation. so, i was hoping some of you might have recommendations on where i can catch some good street acts and if certain days are better than others.

    mucho gracias and heavy hats.

The only place I know where you can see street performers on a regular basis is Covent Garden in London.

      But what about Zagreb?

Are you being stingy with your pitch?
Trying to keep those beer and potatoe hats all for yourself?

No Jesus, if you come to my pitch you'll just see me !
It's not worth his while just to come here and see me.
        I'm not that good.
I am however quite protective when it comes to sharing the veg and beer I get in my hats.

          Too many bags

Don't fly Air France if you got too many bags, according to Jim! Gav I try tomatoes and potatoes with a little hot sauce first thing in the morning. It starts my day out right

May be better on the weekdays since it's late summer, but when I was there (July) it was busy busy on the weekends, reasonably busy inside when it was raining, and light on the weekdays, especially before noon. Tends to be busiest between 1-5pm, and two of the best shows - Dr. Philistine and Senor Chainsaw - tend to happen around 6-7PM.

Usually there are at least a few performers hanging out at the pitch, and you can ask them what the schedule is like!

thank you much for the replies.

gav, sorry but it looks like Zagreb will not be on the itinerary. don't take it personally--i'm sure your show is wonderful. and when i do one day make it out there, i'll bring some lager and lima beans. or swill and squash.
