    LONDON

    Hi,

I would like to ask if there are any pithces in london where is possible to perform without a permition - cause I need to start to work ASAP... Is it possible on SouthBank or in Camden Town? Or could somebody give an advice at which office(s) I can ask for?

I'll be really happy if somebody will help me with this - it s my first time to perform in london, I dont know the rules here, before spain and france everytime...

    thank u a lot

    Not sure myself but...

I think SouthBank is possible anytime with no licence or at least the authorities dont give too much of a bother. Not sure of other pitches - I know Covent you cant do without a permit.
You could try Brighton.Let us know if you work any other pitches

Southbank, no permit needed. Some of the human statues there will tell you you need a permit. They are not correct.

I've spoken with many performers working Southbank while I was at Covent a few weeks ago. I've also phoned and spoken with people in the offices of all the possibly relevant local authorities and the London Eye, and no-one bosses that pitch.

Keep in mind that short shows do best there. Also, no "dangerous" props and no fire. And the breakdancers fire up their music loudly and without concern for anyone else on the pitch whenever they start.
