I've heard this place is good... I've heard this place is horrible.

My wife has a week long business trip coming up this month, and we're kicking around the idea of me tagging along, but only if we can make up the cost by busking.

What are my chances?

what kind of show do you have?
as a juggler circle show, it's horrible. the 16th st mall seems like a dream come true until you realize that the free busses travel up and down it and ruin the spot for building a crowd.
Boulder is only 20 min north.

I do a Magic show... Not really a circle show (Kansas City doesn't really have a place for that kinda thing) Semi circle of around 50 are good crowds for me.

you might be able to work it out then, but I don't know for sure. To me it seems like a small table top magic show could work out well.
I would go if I were you, and you could spend a day and ride the bus up to Boulder as well. Colorado is awesome, I miss going there every summer.

You can work 16th street mall for the lunch crowd and later go to Laermer square for evening and nites, which is not far by foot.You can also take the city bus to Boulder which is more of a buskers community.
