So instead of making a new topic, I'd just recycle this one since it is oh so conveniently labeled perfectly and whatnot. Anyways, my cross country journey will be starting in around 10 days or something. And it just happens to take me to, you guessed it, Boulder CO! So, what there to do and see?! There was TONS of topics on this board about this particular place. Must be exciting.

Boulder season is over, but if the weather is nice on the weekend it can still work out.
      Have fun.

Boulder is dead on wheels. Hike mountains, its better. Arapaho is awesome.

Jugglalicious, Boulder can be very good the last half of May. The Boulder creek festival is the last week end in May . It's always good and fun. One of the best is The peoples Fair the first week end in June in Denver. Food and wine tasting in Aspen the 2nd week end.Telluride Blue grass festival 3rd week in june.

it can be rainy some years, but that's actually kind of a problem everyplace in the spring.

Guess what Evan!! This year was a rainy year. We've been here for a week and it's been raining off and on the entire time. Luckily only 3 of ours shows got rained out - so that was good.

All the performers here are really nice. Lots of people are still learning and everyone is friendly. The crowds usually take a while to break in. But at some point in the show you'll do one trick or tell one joke that will absolutely win the all over and then you are good.

It's currently slow during the week - But we did do shows every day of the week and had a decent response every time.

as always - no amplification at alll. god that hurts. I need to learn to speak from my diaphram
If anyone goes to Boulder this summer (2009) and meets Warren tell him he's a thief and demand that he mail my orange towel to me.

Ha, like two hours ago I heard from an ex, (also named Alex *girl Alex*), who told me that colorado is beautiful and green this year because of all the rain..... she is NOT a street performer.

sometimes I like the rain. It pushes everyone inside the shops/restaurants for a bit, and when they come out there is a calm and focus that never happens otherwise. It's like it makes everyone drop their agenda and start paying attention to what's right in front of them..... it also makes the other performers go home so you have the pitch to yourself. Based on your twitter feed, I think you might have had a similar experience.
