Hello Guys-

I've heard a few performers in the past talking about the theme parks over in Japan and China offering up 6 month to year long performance contracts.

I've done some research and I can't seem to find any info on the agencies that book these. If anyone knows who to contact or where to send promotional information to that would be fantastic.

I do not know of anything that is happening for 6 month or 1yr contracts.

HTB usually offers 6 week contracts...maybe extending for up to 3 months.

I do not know of any China Theme Parks, but there is a LOT happening in China right now, especially leading up to the Olympics.

there are multiple festivals happening thru different agencies.

you'll need to contact HTB direct. they don't really deal with agents as far as I know. Their rates don't afford 'em.

so greg should I just call the vaudeville division of the olympics and tell them we're available?.....that would make life so much easier wouldn't it.

ooo and scot... do you have any idea where I could find contact info for htb... i've searched around the net a bit and everything is in japanese obviously... I want to try and avoid making multiple phone calls to Japan if possible.

TAIWAN

I've had several contracts performing magic in Taiwanese theme parks.

Window on China and Leofoo Village - really awesome experience. I was in Taiwan for an entire year.

With the economic slow down in Taiwan (China is picking up all the manufacturing contracts that used to keep Taiwan flourishing) the theme parks seem to be suffering.

I had an agent contact me some time back offering me £750 pm for two months performing 6 days a week, 3 shows a day.

Would love to head back to Taiwan but the pay is just not good enough.
