I've done shows near the mini golf course. i believe the owner's name back then was David. He was very friendly.

I've never been there in the summer though, the few times i was there it was just me, the statue(near Bally's), and a guy playing bongos.

don't get me wrong its a good pitch if you can get a spot.masses of people. great for any size show. lots of europeans, the people are very receptive and the hotels are cheap its just alot of work and fighting with the pots and pans "musicians" i stayed several months hating it but the money was so good and the hotel was so cheap i just got settled. another thing is i'm a magician and my coins kept falling through the gaps in the board walk. i loved goin to the casinos to sell my ones and the jitney bus that runs up and down atlantic str. for $2 to get me up and down the board walk..try it your self and see if it works for you. european workers seem to like it alot.

How is it this time of year? I'm in Philly right now. I'll be heading down in about a week.

i'm not there now but my friends that are say its the best time of year for it there cuz all the problems i was complaining about are gone. i be up there now but i got business here in new orleans. my friends even sent me pictures of their shows and they had pretty nice edges. well good luck. when i was in philly i used to work south and do side walk shows in the alleys. i heard there was a place called penn's landing? close to south for circle shows with slow build...dunno. atlantic city paid alot better, its a short trip..they even got a bus for@ $20 shuttle you out there.

              Hi Jimmy!

Glad to see you're alive and kicking! Last time I saw you you were heading for Sweden I think.

I moved out of New Orleans soon after Katrina. Poor Frank died at that time.

              I'm now living in Florida.

If you need someplace to stay in N.O. email me. I know some guys who live in the near Bywater who could help you find a place.

Let me know what's going on with you. Say Hi to Valentino. and Peter Bennett. Did you know Harry Anderson has packed up and left? Darn shame- he had just remodelled and opened and had a beautiful Club and a nice crowd every night and then Katrina spoiled everything. Sad.
              Cheers, Eve Dupont.
