    Vancouver, B.C./ NYC

I'm chomping at the bit, I need out of San Francisco, for at least a week. There is no current info on either Washington Square or Vancouver, anyone want to let me know the scoop?

I'm leaning more towards Vancouver because I'm sure NY is hot as @?!# right now, and it's easier to get around the city in Vancouver.

    Byron, Scott, anyone?

    Vancouver

I am on the roster but have only been up there once this year.
I want to say the lady who runs it is named Beth but I dont do names.
Here is the "Busker Hotline" number from the back of my Official Busker Pass:
    604-683-0846
It says the office hours are 11-1 M-F.
    Hope that helps.

Whoa, just found this on the Vancouver, B.C. city hall site

"# The use of sharp and/or dangerous objects is strictly prohibited (for example juggling knives or flaming objects are not permitted). "

Didn't know anything about that, is it true city wide?

I don't know I have only worked on the Granville Island, but no one said anything about me swallowing swords.
        Of Course they aren't sharp.

Granville Island should be fine, contact them first.

The city wouldn't allow me to perform the show I devoloped years before in Vancouver the last time I was there though. I wanted to do a show on my old walk by pitch, while I was in town. When they heard what I did they told me I'd "never" be allowed. They were offended that I juggled baseball bats etc.. Of course I developed the show in Vancouver before the new bylaws came in and had opposed them at the time. At that time the other performers thought it was a good idea.

Hope you have fun, and let me know how it goes for you. It's been a long time since I've been through.

I was just in NYC yesterday. Played Washington SQ. Good stuff. The weather is actually rather cool right now but you get showers every once in awhile.
