    Oregon Country Fair

Anyone know about the busking at the OR Country Fair? How're hats, etc.

The Oregon Country Fair hosts a 3-day event every July in Veneta, Oregon with 500+ performances on 17+ stages, art, handcrafted goods, and delicious food.

    Oh, that's just funny.

The OR country fair is a cross between a Grateful Dead lot party and a Ren Faire. I'm sure they wouldn't let you do it, and if you did, the only things you would get in your hat would be half a granola bar and some dirt weed.

      OCF

OCF is one of the best parties on the West Coast - a lot of folks from Burning man, EarthDance and Reggae on the River. You do not go there to make money - it is an experience, most of performers just try to get in in exchange for all-access 24/7 wristbands, and kitchens feed you if you play in front of them. You can get in for 40$ for 3 days (you can buy passes in SafeWay in Portland and Eugene) , and most likely nobody will bother you busking, but they kick out all 'public" after 7 pm - that's when the 'inner circle" party begins, and you need an intertainer's wristband to stay inside all night, and to camp with 'the locals". Deadline for buskers is some time in february - you can google thier website for info on applying. If you play New Orleans music - i can help you to get in, e-mail me.
