    Toronto

Think I'm unexpectedly going be in Toronto for 3 weeks or so in April and, although I've been there before, I hoping for the odd pointer or two.

What's the nicest hotel you've stayed at? (close to the central station). Not necessarily the fanciest or most expensive (I'm not paying anyway but the client is not in Toronto and wants me to nominate accom.), the most comfortable.

Who else is in Toronto these days and where are you working? I give good audience.

Are there any gig opportunities late April?

Can anyone get me Bluejay's tickets?

    Thanks all.

Directly across the street from Union Station (on Front Street) is the Fairmont Royal York. About half a block west of Union, on Front, is the Sheriton (I think). Those are the only two (very close) ones I can think of. ...thems the fancy ones that stand out in my head.
    Someone else may know more.

there are always friendly men yelling about bluejay tickets, down on the street by Union, if you want to go that route. ...they seem like decent enough fellas. ...I'm never helpful, am I. I'm sorry.

All this has been a little rushed but I believe I'll be doing a "Trompe L'oeil" pavement and mural workshop to produce a pretty serious series of works at the central Rail Station. It is a corporate promo but the concepts will be fun and the participants will actually be paid (not much probably $10 an hour and, sorry, no tips). Interested parties should reply here.
I SOOOooo badly wish I could be there at that time. This is something I could totally be interested in coming out for. Bummer.
When exactly are you doing this?
If nothing else, I'd like to tell my mother to go take a peek at it.

Well, maybe I WILL just keep telling myself that.

The workshop part of the gig has been postponed. I'll let everyone know when its happening again.
