    Update from Key West....

I just left the beautiful Island of Key West and had a GREAT time!!! During my nearly two week vacation i feel i have finally conqured the monster!!! I had some really good shows in both the crappy parking lot pitch, and the pier. My last night i got to work "Will's Hill". WOW!!!!

One of the most memorable evenings of the adventure was the night Will Soto actually saved an audience members life who was choking on a hotdog. He had a GREAT hat after that one! I also was there when the Bagpiper got thrown to the grown and arrested.(what a trip!!)

Everyone down there was very curtious and helpful. Thanks to: Jeep, Schmegly, Will, Johnny, Mark, Casey, Chris, Amy, Rondini, Gazzo, Todd, Tim, Ray, and the Family Circus for making me feel welcome.

I'm spending the last weekend of the trip in Hollywood, Fl for their Mardi Gras, then back to my home pitch in Clearwater. (that right, look out guys, I'm on my way home!!!)

Looking forward to a great Spring Break.

    Dallas...
can a performer just blow into Clearwater and pop off a few shows or is there somekinda bookwork stuff to take care of first?

Anybody in touch with Gazzo and know how long he's gonna be in Key West? He owes me something. No big deal mind you and I wouldn't care to say what here, in such a public forum, but it is sort of an important, shall we say, matter.

In the meantime Dallas, I'd appreciate any information you might impart regarding the pitch(s)(?) in Clearwater.

    Thanks, and goodnight/day/afternoon.

There is some minor paperwork involved. If your act involves danger props, bring proof of insurance. Other than that, a quick read through the rules and regs. and your John Hancock, and I'll find you a spot. Please note that at this time of year, pitches are limited and you should show up around 4:00pm

Thanks for the word Dallas. Glad you had a good time in Key West and were met with success.

You seemed to indicate that now wasn't the prime time to be visiting Clearwater. If not now, when?
