They've been clamping down on circle acts here, rangers everywhere.
It's pre commenwealth games and the suited officials are all getting security paranoid.

Tim Motley has written a new licencing law and had a meeting last week with the council with equity behind him. They will put it through in April until then they can do nothing as The Games is a federal issue.

This means that 'till then there is no fire/knives/whips/swords/chainsaws ie dangerous objects . If you get nabbed a $1000 fine is given out.

Most acts have accepted this rule, but I do here a couple of fines have been issued.

On the upside the council are all positive and have upped the permits from 4 to 25.

great to hear that the ex street performing admiistrator and director is taking such good care of you guys by squeezing permit numbers down and sending rangers out to whack circle shows with 1000 dollar fines. HMMMm Ahhh, thats a deep breath to try to help swallow the kind of shit they must be trying to put you guys through.
