Well, did a few days' worth in Bordeaux last january; and as it seemed to me (at the time anyway) pretty dead street-art wise, anyone who does go there to perform can count on a good reception. There are both wide pedestrian streets and a few squares (Place Saint-Projet, for example) in the center of town, so I suppose you´ll be able to find a venue to your liking for the shows you do. Police gave me no hassle despite the fact I drew crowds to me; performed in the Rue Sainte Cathérine. If you come in by train, the fastest way to the center is the tramline network.
To get an idea of the place in case you haven't been there before go to www.cyberbordeaux.com which has info on lodgings and other useful items.
By the way, will you be going solo or do you plan on doing the Qwirk and Cheeve show?
