Can anyone give me any info on whether busking is allowed on the Gold Coast and where the pitches are located....

Most recent news I heard was that the Surfers pitch had been shut down completely... (Which is why Wellington if full of dirty Aussies at the moment... :-)

Hi. Yes Kim is correct. At the moment I'm in New Zealand. been based in Surfers on and off for 12 years. I spoke to the management office a couple of weeks ago. They've just changed the management team. About the 8th time in as many years. Apparantly they're rewriting the rules. Supposed to be ready by March. Sorry that's all I can tell you at the moment By the way I'm not a dirty Australian and are you a ventriloquist?
