France, part three: Full circle

Got back to Montpellier last night and will hang around for a week or so. Anyway, here's a list of places I passed through since leaving Bordeaux.

Dax, Pau*, Tarbes*, Montrejeau, Toulouse*, and Carcassonne.

Recommended places are marked * as usual, only it would be a good idea to leave this whole part of France well alone until at least the end of april as they're all situated near the Pyrinees mountain range which means it gets bloody cold in winter. To give you an idea, yesterday in Carcassonne it was actually snowing.

Yes indeed

As far as history and the arquitecture it left behind etcetera goes, Carcassonne is indeed quite impressive. May be there again in may or something.
