In case you´re off to perform someplace where a language as yet unknown to you is spoken, you can do one of two things. Either presume the people there will speak english or try to get your mind and tongue familiar with the lingo of the land. In case you´re of the second persuasion, go and visit www.yourdictionary.com; it´s a site with links to basic courses in portuguese, japanese, czech, gaelic, danish, arabic, german, norwegian, hawaiian and one hundred and two (literally) others.

Phonetically speaking...

When we perfiormed in countries with odd (for us) languages we used to get someone to write our spiel in phonetics, and we learned it by heart. Audiences liked to hear us murder their language.

Gracias por su amable oferta. Bueno, pero vivi dos anos en America del Sur y Mexico y ya se como defenderme bastante bien por la calle. Lo mismo con aleman y frances. Mi problema mas grande es comprender a los negros estado unidenses. Quando me hablan no entiendo casi nada!
