We have worked Trinidad. Jamaica, Martinique, Guadeloupe and Curacao. But not on the street. It was all contracts- hotels, casinos, nightclubs, TV. Movie houses plus in Jamaica dozens of schools.

We were in Jamaica 6 months and never saw any International buskers. There were local steel bands playing.

You could just go on spec, and try to get a store or hotel or TV to book you. Should you decide to try, don't go in summer. The heat and humidity are similar to New Orleans.

Trinidad is a wonderful place to experience Carnival. Quite different from the Big Easy. No motorised floats, but lots of groups, and individuals who have such big costumes that they "float" them on wheels.

Curacao is the only place I would contemplate risking busking. That's because it would be better if you end up in jail there, as compared to other islands. It is run by the Dutch and their standards are higher.
