    Dublin, Ireland: Grafton St.?

    Has anyone worked this area?
    Thoughts?
I'm going to be passing through there around St. Patty's day.

    Any info? Recommendations?

    What about Galway?

I've worked it a few times, It can be good. Sometimes the police don't care, sometimes they do. Policing inconsistentcy can be very frustrating. There are a few things to contend with (shop owners etc), but it is definitely workable. At least it was 2 years ago, it might have changed. Galway was very good for me. I didn't have any problems there.

being from ireland i have some insights, being inexperienced at street performance, i cant pick out some fine details.

      Dublin
Temple bar square was a good place. tho now it has decreased in size due to shop expanding their outdoor seating area.

on Grafton St. Ive noticed that u need to be really tight and short if u want to work grafton st. people are out to shop, not to watch you. so entertain them then drain them FAST!

as for galway i dont really know the only time i busked there was when i didnt really know what buskin was so i made like €8 in 30 mins of low quality fire juggling. i expect the standard is high.

I did a show at the end of Grafton St 2 summers ago, and had a whole group of teenage boys stand staring at me the whole time like they wanted to kill me....

I do perform in a green suit, and they probably thought i was taking the piss.

other than that, it seemed fine.
