    BOSTON

Were about to head on up to Boston, but dont know the local pitch/ethics.

We have a mime which we perform, so can work in non traditional pitches along with the traditional ones.

Are there any suggestions for sites?

    Cheers.

Fanuil Hall (I'm not sure about spelling) have auditions in spring. We tried to get in a couple of years ago, but they don't allow face-painters..City of Cambridge has it's own permit system - about 40$ a year, there are a lot of musicians on Harvard square. You can do the search on the net to get in touch with the city hall there. I believe you can work on Boston Common without a permit - but I'm not sure, I never tried...

Does anybody know good festivals in Boston which allow street performers? I'd love to come there in summer...

Did anybody work for Boston Pride? I found it on festivals.com- and it looks like a great busking op, 2 week gig on Boston Common, but I don't know if they allow street performars...Thanks.Irina
