Singapore river buskers festival?

I was under the impression the entire festival moved to Kuching, Malaysia.

i believe it moved to Kalua Lampur in 2006 and lasted for two seasons and then since then nothing...here is the last website I have on file:

Well folks yes indeed it is back!
Singapore Busker Festival is moving to Sentosa Island this year, dates are Nov.27 - Dec.5.

I think I should go to Sentosa because

...the first time I worked in Sentosa I had a 6 week gig but was in intensive care with 26 stitches in my forehead and bleeding out of the ears within 5 hours of getting off the plane to the gig.

I have some post traumatic stress syndromes to confront.

Plus I wear stilts and I'm quirky.

Sentosa Buskerfest

I'm still stranded in the UK (seriously, Britain, get your shit together when it comes to snow..) after thinking it would be a good idea to stop over and visit friends on the way home from the Sentosa Buskerfest.

It was pretty great. I mean; we were in a beautiful resort, we were taken care of pretty well.. the only hitch was that it's rainy season... in.. Singapore. Oddly enough, there was no rain plan until well into the week, but, eventually it was sorted out.

Aside from the rain issue, the crowds were awesome, there were some massive shows to be had and overall (I feel..) it was a good time. Plus, I got the honour of starring opposite of Fraser in a beautiful, heartwrenching short film.


They scoped us out from Halifax Buskers, and are planning on another festival next year, for what it's worth... It's an alright gig for November! So, if it's happening again keep it on your radar!
