    reclaim the Mound

    hey this is a thread for people to help us re claim the Mound pitch at Edinburgh, it's a link to a facebook group that is an online petition to send into the Edinburgh Fringe office.
    The fringe are looking to manage two new pitches at the mound which will be a great thing for all of us there, so help us out and sign on.

      we just gave it away

      freedom is power give your power away is giving away your freedom .when they have enough power they will use it to take away by any means possible the freedom of those who stood firm .
      there is a reason they call it the free world ..

              debrief/Review

              What say we have a review of this years Festival , subjects on the agenda;
              1) The £50 per artist (pay to play policy)
              2)the reclaimation of the mound
              3)The future, do we want to form a guild or union, to speak with authority?

                What's the deal with this payment thing? They make you subscribe to the performers area of the Fringe web-site for 10 pounds, and then they want another 117 pounds to be in the programme...I did not see anything about 50 pounds on the Fringe site...I talked to people who worked there, and it was always free...I have never done Fringe, but want to go this year. By the way - how are British customs? Do they check your bags or it's green line?
