Any one ever done this festival? how is it?

Is dat St Johns in Canada? If so, I did it in 2002 and for me, it was a good start of my Canadian trip then. At the time ESP was organizing this festival, but they don't do it anymore.
Could you tell me who is organizing it now? -
We did this festival in Saint John, NB this year.
We left with the impression that it was a crappy festival. The weather didn't help but also the organizers didn't seem to give a shit. We had a hard time dealing with them leading up to the festival. They were nice til we confirmed with them that we would come and then they got difficult to deal with.
They kept us up at a university campus that is miles away from everything. They had 1 pitch going and said we had to perform infront of the bars to keep the sponsors happy, even though that left very little room for a crowd.
One thing they did do for us is have an inside location for rainy days. and unfourtunately it rained all weekend, we only had 1 outdoor show. As shitty as it felt performing in a mall it was good to be able to let us try to get some money while we were there. One thing that sucked is that we had to perform in the mall and we weren't given the choice to perform. Sometimes the shows weren't worth the effort but other times it was.
The organizers seemed to be very new at running a festival and we wouldn't go back to this one for a few more years until they get an idea of how it should be run.Comment
