    June?!?!?!

I thought it was in June usually, but I have not heard anything about it..
I also heard it may be taking place in September on the 9 - 11 and then again I heard it may be in November...anyone have the word as to what happened to this festival?

I've filmed this buskerfest for years.

I checked earlier and it said Sept. I just checked back and it said it had been combined with the Lodo festival and already happened in June. I've dropped them an email with no response.

Shame...It was one of the largest in the USA.

The newspaper this week said that due to lack of corporate sponsorship it was likely
kaput. Efforts to make money with beverage sales didn't work out, as the resturants in the area would undercut the festival venders prices.

          I'll miss it.

That's a shame; Damnit I will be in the area; Does Denver have a workable pitch?

There really is no pitch in Denver. There are some beautiful sites but the nature of the people being so on the move makes it hard to hold attention. The festival was great because people came for the festival. By and large the people in Denver on any given day are in a hurry to get somewhere.

On the other hand, Boulder is not far. We all know the upsides and downsides to Boulder so I will leave it at that. If you do come to town, send me an e-mail and I can try and help you find places to work. Also, if you need a lift to Boulder, we can go share a pitch.

Boulder's always been Colorado's pitch. But, believe it or not, Aspen can be good, too. Give it a shot.
