Like wise can anyone tell me anything at all about this one. Is it good fun, well organised, profitable or is it like Brugges!!!!

In my opinion , busking festivals are crap , festivals are good .Why go to the place where all the buskers are if you want to busk ?
If you want to watch , then busking festivals are great , Tarrega was fantastic .
Here in northern Spain from Sping until early autumn there are festivals galore and hardly any artists , always spaces to play , music , fireworks no police , and fun . None of this politics nonsence and waiting your turn in line playing to people who have been bombarded all day with shows . -

a couple of years ago I was at the neuchatel busking festival and killed every day for five days, afterwards we all went to ferrara...
very different, we made a lot of money but it was not the same.
maybe because we were invited to neuchatel and so were official buskers whereas in italy we were just gatecrashersComment

i haven't been there but i have got lots of friends who have... more or less i've heard this... its a great festival for partying and getting contacts for paid gigs... its mostly a musicians festival so you usually play with lots of background noise... the hats are great for some horrible for others... the organizers give you a discount on food and lodging and from what i heard its not much of a discount... i have heard lots of complaints about the organizers but the people that complain go every year... its hard to tell, italians complain alot...
