Yukon Longest Days( and builds) festival
I just returned from the Longest Days Festival in Whitehorse Yukon.
Points of intrest:
The festival is very good to the performers the accomidation is normal but nearly every resturant in town donates a gift certy so meals are phat and phree. fours stars:
They gave the group I was shareing the pitch with a van. So that was cool:
The fee is cool as well:
The shows are really long builds for small generous crowds. At least that what I found.
I landed the front page of the paper twice..Small town wow
My mate got a knife pulled on him by a drunken naitve,
(Happens everywhere up and over as well as down under)
Of course it is very beautiful, postcard crazy, bring a camera.
and this is the first year of the thing so it has a chance to grow as something...........maybe:
I know of a couple of acts going up there this month(not quite Thailand Aaron, not a CPT in the town)
