A fantastic festival in a very small town on a hill surrounded by countryside, not far from San Marino, Italy. Couldn't get more picturesque!!
The orginiser, Enrico is a great guy who has a full time job as an engineer, but somehow manages to coordinate hundreds of artists single handedly, and put together a festival with a brilliant atmosphere. He will bend over backwards to ensure that you have a good time.
The diversity and quality of acts was testiment to his comittment and love of street performance.
Tens of thousands of people flock from all around to pack the town to capacity over the 5 days.
The hats are probably not as big as some of you might expect, but the starting fee is good and the audience is excellent.
If you plan on coming to europe next year, you should definately try for this one. Best to learn some Italian first, as the audience don't have a broad understanding of english.
