"Street Performers" there are all hired entertainers, not buskers. We tried to 'crash" it several years ago and were closed in 10 minutes. If you want to work there - contact the production Co, but as long as I remember from the conversation with producers - it pays really bad, and you are not allowed to accept any tips.

        Milwaukee

I've had a few PMs from performers about Milwaukee, and I'll repeat what I told them: Milwaukee is not receptive to buskers. That's the bad news. The good news is that Milwaukee hosts many summer festivals, including Summerfest, that hire hundreds of performers as strolling entertainers & stage acts... and you can keep all the tips you get.

          interesting.

i was recently hired as an act (living statue) for this year's bastille day festival.

i'm working out a contract currently and, honestly, feel somewhat uncomfortable discussing money in depth before it is hammered out. but i can comfortably say that i'm being paid and i am allowed to collect tips.

i've never been to milwaukee (ever!) so feel free to email me with any thoughts about it!
