Just a couple of hours ago "Born in a Taxi", "The Business" and myself finished a 2 hour live video cross to the festival from Melbourne but I'm dying to know about what's happening or happened there on the ground. From this end, it has certainly been one of the most weird and wonderful gigs I've ever done.

And watch out for Trugo, the game, at a festival near you!!!

ah

ah god it was goooooood.....weird, dutch, beautifully organised, full on socialising and great site. i turned up late in the week so missed about 4 days, so the bonding that had gone on was quite hard to break! it was in a field next to a purpose built village for people with learning difficulties, they would come down and hang out or just come down and shout in a happy way at anything. there were lots of stages, indoor and out, but all beautifully designed like the inside of a saloon with walls that fall out like in those old black and white slapstick films. A bar with a fountain on top, and a spoof tv news station documentin all the events of the day. each morning we would get given a task and a group to work with, then we would work on a piece for the evenings show from scratch. Under the safety of dutch experimentation there was some shit and some great things and some shit great things! and when i mention poo, there was an indescribable act using , um , poo...but i'll let peewee tell you about that cos i didin't see it. then the evening would consist of mad drunken barrell surfing instigated by Drue Franklin, wrestling matches instigated by Drue again and a great deal of laughing instigated by everyone....it was brilliant and must be done again. A great place to stop doing your same old same old shit and to be thrown in the deep end by working with people you have never met before....
