Hey Nick No Ch-Ch low down this year?

We usually get an update on the Christchurch Festival from Nicknick Olas. Im wondering why he's not giving us the lowdown this year. Has everything gone wrong at the"Wright" festival?

I hear Nick went straight to the airport from the bar to do a bunch of shows in OZ for Australia day Monday morning.
This was my first time at the festival, I am told that this was a "smooth" one compared to other years.

I happened to be vacationing in NZ while the festival was going on, so I got to see a good bit of it. The venues were, I thought, very good, and the event seemed well managed. Local publicity was excellent. I understand the "Busker's Comedy Club" moving from the Dux du Lux to the arts center was a big improvement. Most of the acts were enjoyable, and there was enough variety between them that people could see several performers without getting the same material over and over.

Not exactly a Nick lowdown, but my impressions. *Shrug*
