    Does size matter?

    Given the same number of audience members, would it be better to have a large, thin circle, or a small, multi-layered one?

    it depends on which format you can give them a better show in.
    I great big thin circle would be pretty shit for close up card tricks.

      Small and multi-layered, because then they feel like a group and can laugh with each other.

      If the circle gets more layers than can see, you can then get them all to step back a bit.

          There are no places for circle shows in KC. I do alright with a bunch of 12-15ish minute acts in a day.

            Multilayered always works best for me. I like to bring them in close so I can make better contact with them. Creates an interesting dynamic.
