    Musicians...

Some of the musician buskers are quite good, but they net, I bet, $20-30 a night.

How does a sax player rake in as much as I do? I thought I'd pass on wisdom... I'm naive that way.

It was great except for that guy that broke out a car load of amps on the corner were I was working pointed them right at me turned the volume up to 10 and said excuse me but this is my spot! #@$$%&&@#&$. Do you know that guy?

I'm surprised he hasn't gotten beat down for that kinda stunt.

Tonight was interesting.. There were four entertainers in a line on the same strip in the plaza, and it felt really good. I wish there was a steady place around here with regular performers... I quite enjoyed sharing the stage... Even the assholes with the amp didn't hurt my show.

I tried Lawrence last night... Way better than any spot in KC.

                Nichol's plaza...

                47th and Central, KCMO...

IT's okay. Sometimes security thinks they need to roust someone, but they really don't have the power to do so.

                    It's really close...

Different area... Westport is more of a party area, and Plaza, a mid-upper scale shopping area.

                      the plaza

Oh, thanks for the imfo. Do you have to have permission or a permit to work there, can one just show up there as a traveling busker?

                        Well...

Plaza likes to TRY to tell people to leave, once in a while (especially if it's a new security guard).

If you don't take up a lot of space, are not blocking sidewalk traffic (There are no circle show spots here), and not blasting an amp, you should be okay.

No permits or permission is required.
