    Help planning shows

    hey
Long time browser First time poster.
I was wondering what kind of shows do you guys pitch when going to agents? are there specific lengths of show that they will be after?
for example 3 minutes to music, 20 minute show with lots of talking.
    whats your experience?
    thanks

For an agent, rather than a festival, I tell them that we can do anything from 5 minutes solo act to a 90 minute full on show to atmosphere. What they mostly book are short acts and atmosphere for parties, and an occasional 30 minute show for a shopping mall. Agents like to have options to show their clients, and I give them a list of every possible skill we do. The ones I've dealt with like that people who work in my company are multi-skilled, so they can have five acts from two performers and it stretches the budget. They also like stuff that looks way expensive, so I stress nice costumes and send pictures with good lighting.

pitch the show that you want to do and are good at.

There are lots of different kinds of agents. Some (in the states) only do college bookings, or comedy clubs, or corporate events, cruise ships, etc. where do you fit in the world of entertainment?
