What good books did you get for Christmas?

For Christmas my in-laws got me the good stuff: Balloon Architecture by Larry Moss (an excellent primer on balloon weaving techniques with instructions on how to make everything from the Parthenon to the Taj Majal, very good stuff) and Steve Martin's Born Standing Up which is a great autobiographical read for any one interested in Steve Martin or the performing arts in general. Also very good stuff.

What good books have you been reading lately???

Ah I own the first one ye talked of very helpful. I got from m,y brother a used copy
Diablo stick grinds and suicides,Art of Poi DVD, and Mister Babache's diablo folies pt 1&2 DVD. I have been woking my way slowly though the booklet. Other then that I got a nis poll bowler.

Steve Martin's "Born Standing Up" is absolutely magnificent. Every variety performer should read it.
