Look at my icon to see what it is.

It is not hard to learn. However, it is important to learn it safely, which means you should be taught by a qualified teacher.

          On a related note (kinda)

I just did a little corporate gig at a resort in Minnesota, employees and families on a continued learning retreat.
After my show a young boy was over heard saying to his mothers horror-
"Do you think thats a skill I could aquire?"

            It's Hard with a capital H.

Most street performing related things have been discussed on this forum before; try doing a search before posting a new thread.

For example, a search for 'blockhead' will turn up this old painful, though somewhat useful, thread:

The first time I saw this trick performed was on a Rudy Coby TV special, way back in the day. Very gross and awesome.

Since the thread is back up at the top again...I gotta brag on my new blockhead toy...
A 20 " long fiber optic flashlight used to peek down gun barrels. I can do mental floss with it.
Not sure how to routine it yet...But it is certainly different!

                  Very cool, Gwyd!

Have you seen Enigma's version? He mental flosses the fiber-optic light, then holds a glass sphere between his lips, turning himself into a human spotlight. Amazing.

Hope life is good. My best to Sylver.

Still looking for a cat catheder to thread up m'nose. I have some really odd ideas for that!
I'll pass on the regerds to Sylver!
                    Be well m'friend!

The first time I saw it, I was about 10 at a sideshow at the county fair. The next day, I tried sticking a qtip in there. practiced that for a couple days to get the sneeze reflex gone, then I tried a nail.

Problem was I only had finishing nails (the kind with a small head). I showed it to my mom and got it stuck in my nose. Then, I sneezed and it came out in my hand. She thought it was a magic trick. I was afraid to tell her it was real.

I had an oddly similar experience around age 7, Scot--

I was sitting in the living room, watching Saturday morning cartoons (see, waaay back in olden times, Saturday morning was the best day of the week for kids, 'cuz there would be hours of cartoons on tv. . .and not just on one channel, but on all four!) and, distracted by the SuperFriends ("Meanwhile, back at the Hall of Justice". . .), I stuffed a rubberband up my nose, and then pulled it back out. This went on for some time, without incident, until I stuck it too far up there and it got, well, stuck.

I went upstairs and told my mom, who got annoyed at me for waking her up to tell her what she thought was a some kind of second graders' joke, when I sneezed and the rubberband smacked onto the floor, haphazardly displayed in a mound of nose goo.

She did not think it was a magic trick.

Gwyd, send me a PM with your address (full name would probably help, too) and I'll mail you one.

Why would Gwyd want a rubber band in a mound of nose goo?
