I need somethign to go w/ drumming

I have been reading some of your guy's posts, and I have noticed, a good amount of you are doing these complex things, or big shows and such. Any ideas on something to add, or a way to bucket drum that may add a bit more flare than some 16 year old hitting a few buckets? I was thinking about inviting like kids up to try or something, but I don't know what else.
    Thanks.

A series of complex pulleys and levers. Tie them to yourself and dance around to drum.

      BAM

A couple of years ago, I saw the three - four man group BAM at the CHCH buskerfest.

If you can track them down . . . they had an absolultly wonderfully entertaining show. You, or I for that matter, could learn a lot from them. Wish I knew how to reach them.

I believe they were from Canada.

If you can tell a story with your drums, you'll have a good start.

Good luck! And keep us posted.

I've always been a fan of the New York Street Boys (some of whom are on this forum).

It's been so long since I saw them that I can't remember exactly what they DID ... but I remembering being very entertained.
Well, maybe I WILL just keep telling myself that.

well also I was thinking about how loud they are. Do you think it would be better if I used hot rods (quiet drumstick like things)

            simple but effective

I saw a plastic watercooler bottle used as a drum by a young girl once ... her enthusiasm sold the act but the fact that it was just a water bottle made it kinda cool ... go big ... go loud.

audience participation could be used in several ways (eq. cymbals, triangle, tom tom) ...give them somthing simple to do.
