        Thanks.
It's the one joke I've got that few can replicate.
        ...I need more of those.

Here's what I made that day (right before someone asked me for spare change. I ended up with enough for a coffee.)

MMMmmmm - that fills me with enthusiasm and confidence for Dundas!!
At least the pan handler did well from the day. Although I hazzard a presumption that coffee wasnt their tipple.
See you in a few days

Don't worry. Dundas and downtown Hamilton are worlds apart.
Dundas is retirement land. Those people are just LOOKing for a way to spend their money.

Although I think downtown Hammertown NEEDS this stuff more.

...and take in mind that the reason for the four dollars in my palm could very likely have been ME. heh. And I think at least a dollar of it was from my friend.

            See you soon!
            weeeeee!

Looking at your "ballerina" picture maybe you should consider taking your act to Europe perhaps......... They like their ballerinas with one eyebrow and braided armpits......

Looks like p.art might actually work better for you Rachel, unless that's a "Wonder Woman" costume under the tutu.

From my observations, "the tutu" really only works for skinny post-pubescent male jugglers on unicycles (the list of examples would be way too embarassing to ever publish, as I'm sure Gav, Sam, LDR, Tom, Al and countless others, would agree) and it's often "borrowed" from an older sister or one of her friends. I think this phenomenon may have something to do with the feel of satin and a firm comfortable gusset but hey, what do I know, I don't juggle.

The only woman I can recall that successfully wore a tutu in a street show was Nani McMullin and she famously killed her dominating partner at the end of every show, presumably for making her wear the damn silly costume.

I take offence Peter if you're implicating me in that trend.
I have never used either a unicycle or a tutu in my show and I most certainly could never have been considered skinny.

Congratulations Rachel on doing a show. Especially on that pitch. I have stood on that spot before and surveyed its resounding bleakness. I think 4 bucks is a bloody good haul. You look great in a tutu. Lots better than many unicycling fire jugglers I have seen.

Did someone film your journey for your movie??

Shit, sorry Gav, I thought you were the funny skinny Gav, not the fat stupid Gav.
You are male though, Gav, and do you deny the thing about your sister's friends' clothes?
I've seen the faux leopard skin on both of you.

I shall have to pay you a visit when I'm back in oz.
I'm of muscular build with above average intelligence, and I never got my leopard clothes from anybodies sister.
I sew them myself thankyou very much.

Who's this skinny gav anyway ?

nah. I thought long and hard about it, but wanted this to be fun, not stressful. Watching back a video would have only discouraged me. I'm very, very, very hard on myself. (And I woudn't have been able to help myself but to watch it.)
I figured that with photos, no matter how much I sucked, the photos could still look great.
And my friend took so many that they could be edited in succession to work in a film, if need be. But I'm trying to move on from that. It wasn't going to work -- the movie. Now I just want to relax and create, in whatever form that takes. ...And besides, I'm trying to save up to make a marionette film, starring a cynical, stilt-walking mime. That'll take up enough of my filmic energy (aside from my current three animation jobs... I've locked myself in my office today to try to get some work done). eep.

and.... I actually think Peter called ME "fat" before he called Gav "fat".
Well, maybe I WILL just keep telling myself that.

Hey, I didn't call anyone fat. It's just there are so many Gavs out there in leopard skin tutus that it's hard to tell which one is which.

Here in Melbourne, the city is preparing legislation to outlaw any Gavin wearing faux animal skin tutus in public. About time too, I say.
