N dier need of tips on Straight Jacket Escape!

I'm doing the river festival here in KS this week. Went out yesterday and had to go to the ER for heat exhaustion. Got IV's the whole shabang... it WAS NOT fun... bleh. I do a one man band circle show and haven't been performing regularly for the past couple months since I've been in KS so I'm really not in shape for such a strenuous exercise, that on top of just comin out of winter and not bein used to the heat again and a sinus infection/the shits I'm in pretty bad shape. Shoulda saw this comin I guess! But I've only been doin this for a year so I suppose I still have a lot to learn. Anyway, tomorrow I'm gonna try to go out and do a stunt show instead of carryin around 50 pounds on my back and singin at the top of my lungs all day. So I figure I can do the blockhead, then a straight jacket escape with 75 ft rope. I perform the blockhead in the OMB show but have never done a straight jacket escape in front of a live audience so I was wondering if anyone has any tips on how I should get people to tie me up, stock lines, anything will help! If you do an escape show or have seen one please post a reply and I'd truly appreciate it. Thankx

    Jord

    ***EDIT

PLEASE MAKE SURE THEY ARE STOCK LINES/BITS- NOT ANYONE"S ORIGINAL MATERIAL

and this is only temporary till I'm back in good health.

Sorry no real tips on the escape from me, but I have to say if you're trying to avoid getting over heated and passing out in the sun, then maybe the straight jacket escape is not the routine you're looking for.
I've seen many an escape act in the Australian heat almost do themselves in on a hot day.
Being wrapped up tightly in all that stuff is hardly a way to stay cool and breathe easy.

Hey thanks Gav. I'm sure I'll be able to handle a straight jacket escape for the next few days. The OMB gets very hot on my back and it weighs a lot which makes me hotter plus when I play I'm usually screaming and it takes an extreme amount of breath control to do that + play the harp + the kazoo back to back.

Thanks for the help though everyone! I guess this was to much to ask? Sorry...

        under armour?

Can't remember where I read it, but someone was touting the advantages of wearing Under Armour long sleeve tshirt under the jacket. Good luck!
