    exercises

Hello...I am mainly a juggler, although i dabble in lots. I dont know how many street acrobats there are outthere, or even if this counts as street acrobatics, but i was hoping to learn a backhandspring and backflip this summer. I have coaches who can teach me, but i was hoping to do exercises in the meantime so i can be physically ready. What sort of stuff do you do for backtucks and backhandsprings?
    thanks, eric

If you are in the UK ,preferably near the lake district, My partner and I are street acrobats and we teach acrobatics at a local gym.
If we are too far away ,sorry, perhaps there's someone closer to you , i don't know where you are.
Regarding excersises to condition your body, you need mid body strength more than anything else but the wrists and ankles are more likely to get injured, so progressively strengthen them, I seriously recomend supervision by a qualified teacher, though as books, videos or on line instructors can't tell if by some subtle variation in posture you're doing more harm than good.
