I never tried to use a translator (unless you count that show I did in Spain where Moonbeam spoke into a mike offstage in Spanish while I pretended to mouth the words ... bad idea ... he insulted the hell out of people in an unfunny way and they took it out on me!!!)
BUT ... I did find myself surrounded in LA by a totally Mexican audience (who had just left a nearby concert) ... I started adding an "O" to everthing I said ... it worked great ... funO grande.
