What are the dangers in ___?

I have been doing some acts for awhile now and have gotten somewhat concerned about possible negative effects that they may have. First of all, i eat wineglasses and light bulbs and was wondering about any long term bad effects that they may have. I chew the glass well and then figure I'm ok but i want to make sure. I also do bicep/tricep/pectoral muscle and chin(needle in under tongue and out chin/throat area) peircings. I was wondering about any tendons, nerves, veins, arteries, etc. that i may need to watch out for. Also, anybody know what that fleshy stuff is i hit when i get a nail or screw about 3 1/2-4 inches into my nose? Is that the membrane letting me know to stop before i hit my brain or what? Sorry if this all sounds a bit crazy but i haven't had any training in any of the acts that i do and i just want to make sure that i am safe. Thank you all for your wisdom.

First off, are you serious, or just being wry? Please tell me that you are just being funny. Assuming that you're not joking, the short answer is, "No, you are not safe."

Every stunt you described can be very dangerous, and none of them should be attempted without training. Or at least basic knowledge; from some of the questions you're asking, it seems you don't have the slightest idea what you're doing. I don't mean that as an insult, I'm concerned you're going to seriously hurt yourself. It's like jumping out of a plane and asking on the way down, "What's this pull-cord thing, and is it important?"

I think you may want to take a break from these stunts until you have the training to perform them safely.

As my father would say, "You gotta be shitting me."

      ... where to start...

Wineglasses and lightbulbs when eaten together will tend to form winebulbs in the digestive tract, which will linger and tend to cause blistering oblivion to obvious peril. Better watch for that.
When piercing the chin and face, one risks permeating the cerebral gland, which often results in lack of foresite, and may have side effects which include self destructive behavior, and eventually, chronic loneliness. The fleshy stuff you are hitting 3-4 inches inside your nose is your conscience. Ignore it at your own risk.

        Wow mate!
are you trying to get a reaction? I have done all these things for real, but at least you wanna read up on your anatomy, or find people who know, my suggestion would be looking up Zamora the Tortureking, he is in California, I think his website is mindandmatter.com or something like that, also The Lizzard man knows the body really well. I certainly know mine, Though I found that the street (I assumed that thats where you perform) is not quite the place you wanna do it. Especially in the states people tend to find freak acts disturbing, also its not hygenic enough, (meaning its dirty, hard to keep things clean) there are certain parts of your body that can be seriously hurt if you don't pierce right, glass eating really fucks up your teeth, very quickly so. There is a lot of things to be considered before doing all this... I learnt all this myself I don't mean to make it sound impossible, or like I am being rude, but at least know where your material comes from and treat it with respect. I suggest do some research.
        Yours,
        Jewels

Prisoners in Russian jails would eat glass so as to become ill and get transfered to the infimary. Life expectancey in the prison cells was something like 18 months due to overcrowding and malnutrition.

I saw a fellow at a night club put a wine glass in a black cloth and smashing it on the side of the stage before he ate it. I still wonder if he didn't pull a switch to sugar candy, it would have been easy to do. I know they make sugar windows for the movies, for all I know they make sugar wine glasses as well.

Hit the right nerve in your face and you'll be drooling and or crying or twitching for the rest of your life.

Florescent light bulbs a definate no no. The coating will kill you.

Facial injuries are a paticular hazard for infection spreading to the brain.

Hospitals cost big bucks. Please buy your own insurance, I live in Colorado and hate to think of my hard earned tax dollars going to pay for your soon to be needed medical care.
