Hi there. I'm in CT. Just finished building some stilts here with Martin. I think I want to mime on them. For now I want the traditional mime look. Stripe shirt, black hat, white face, ect. Does anyone know where to pick this stuff up in Philly or NYC? I'm traveling south right now so if you know any other places along the way that would be great. Thanks.

Yes, it is fucking amazing being you. I don't think I've made a complete transformation yet but I think once I'm ten feet tall I will really be seeing the world from your point of view and everything will click. Just curious, when will all these sexual fantasies involving midgets pass? or is this a permanent thing??? I wouldn't be so worried if they were giraffes or ostridges but midgets???! I'm confused : /Comment

the things you want can be found in a bunch of places
Goth shops shirts/ hats semi high priced
Costume houses both good price
best on stills is have a seamtress make you a pair of pants for the semi-rich or lucky
make your own like my freind did though he has semi-good hand stiching skills time
less money
Also hats black gentlemen stores
All has varitables
Hope no-one is upset over sharing my 2 cents on this

the real deal: B/W shirts
http://www.sillyfarm.com/shirts.htm The one I have is cotton lyra. A bit heavy for summer. Not a real bright bleached white white. But because it has lycra in it,
it doesn't pill like 100% cotton. Good prices and service.
The two that I have are 100% cotton, so they will pill after a while. Velro at the cuffs to adjust.
See it on me here:
All of these folks are great to deal with and have top shelf reputations.
So, as a mime - one mand band, will this be a silent act? Will the stilts help you hit the high notes?
Here is a shirt for the verticaly challenged mime:

I won't be doing one man band on stilts for a while I think. I'm gonna try it though. I'm going to build a smaller one man band to use with stilts and unicycle. Think I'll end up doing it on unicycle mostly.
I don't have a mailing address really since I'm traveling so can't do the ordering off the web thing. Thanks though!
I'll let you all know when I get some video posted up.Comment
