What's a good one to get to start out on? Does it matter the size? I was thinking the smaller the funnier but I'm sure it would be less comfortable as well if it were smaller...

20 inch wheel is the average size.

What's harder to ride? Big or small? I got a 20inch being delivered this week but I was thinking that if I liked it, it would be fun to try and make one out of an itty bitty tricycle wheel if it were possible. I'm thinking it will be pretty hard to ride though. I plan on trying to draw pictures while on it (we'll see!) so one that moves slower would be best. This is why I'm thinking that the trike tire would work for this. Looks super funny and has a purpose too!
