    mediaval tryouts

I am going to tryout to be in the Rebels, a play that gets put on once a year about the winter solctice. They do a different theme each year (arab solctices, english solctices etc). This year the theme is mediaval and my mother mentioned there might be jugglers. Or I might want to juggle in it. I've thought up a great ballad about being drunk and dropping a wine bottle, catching it and juggling. I will juggle clubs decorated to look like wine bottles.
Any ideas on costumes and makeup and wine bottle clubs?

As far as a jester type costume-
Moressca Clothing & Costumes 361 Union Center Rd. Ulster Park NY 12487 914-331-6012

For wine bottle clubs- Stu Reynolds used to make stuff like that I don't have his # handy but call Brian Dube' 520 Broadway 3rd floor New York N.Y. 10012-4436 (212) 941-0060 and ask him, maybe he can help you out.

For make-up how about a nice tattoo in the middle of your forehead? Seriously, just don't bathe for a couple of days, you should fit right in.

I Juggled wine bottles in a show a few years ago and the shows producers wouldnt let me use real GLASS bottles because I was starting the act in the audience. So they were worried about the danger of one hitting someone. So what they agreed to was wooden turned bottles, painted green and I got some home made wine lables from a home brewing store .... The bottles themselves were very heavy so If they had ever hit someone they would have done far more damage than glass ..lolo...GO figur ... BUT to get a good balance I had them turned out inside which made there spins fine and it made them much much lighter

      Hope this helps abit.

If you get stuck also I have the addresses of a few costumers that stock Jesters suits ... but they are in the UK ...
