Bogus Canadian Weather

Have any other Canadian street performers noticed the absolutely horrid weather conditions in the country this year?

I haven't had one solid weekend yet this year, and i'm getting awfully frustrated... It's times like this that makes street performing such a pain, but... It's all worth it for those perfect days.

Raindrops keep falling on my head...

Join the club. I live & perform in Wisconsin & Illinois, and all my outdoor events so far this year have been cold & rainy. Last week in Chicago there were flash floods & tornado alerts, and I had to get off the highway on my way home and find a hotel for the night. What a mess.

The Brisbane & Surfers' Paradise "winter" is beautiful... comfortable sunny days, not too hot, not too cold... just right.

And all the locals bitch about how crappy the weather is...

And all the performers bitch about how quiet the crowds are...

And I sit here and roll out my little show, and make a little money, and have a little fun, and read the freezing weather report for back home in Wellington, and laugh.

Yeah I've noticed it...Atlantic Canada has had a break in the last bit with like five striaght sunny days...but before that we had like a week and a half of rain ...it upset me too

I was watching much of the Edmonton International Street Performer's Festival. They had some really horrid weather, floods of rain and stuff. It got REALLY nice during the end of the week though.
