Anybody Have Holiday Bookings?

I normally get quite a few holiday party gigs to stroll around and play my button box. Usually they tell me "don't play too many Christmas songs, just a few here and there", which is fine with me. Anyhow, it's been slow this year and I'm not sure if it's because parties have been cut down (you wouldn't know it from the recent Oracle party in SF or the huge numbers of people attending music festivals in SF this year), so I'm not sure what the situation is. I've gotten all my work by either word of mouth or people picking up my business cards while I've been busking. Well, there are still the same number of people picking up my cards, so I'm wondering what's up.

How have other people's experiences been?
