I discovered (actually they discovered me) a wonderful theatre to perform in and wanted to give the community a heads up.
There is a BEAUTIFUL little theatre in Bethlehem, New Hampshire that has an early afternoon kids program. It's called the Colonial Theatre ( www.bethlehemcolonial.org ) There kind of out in the middle of nowhere (3 hour drive from Boston) but the audience is fantastic and the owners and staff are amazing. Not a whole lot of moolah, but they treat you great. The owners put me up in a nice little appartment (sure beats the quality inn) and there is a lovely cafe down the street that has live music all night. You can watch New Hampshire mountain people get shit faced drunk and then GET INTO THEIR TRUCKS and promplty crash into a telephone pole. Yes, I watched it happen.
Anyway, I had a great time and if you have a seasoned act and are in New England, this is a great place to perform. Send 'em your promo! BTW, they are looking for an act for halloween, possibly a great magician with some spooky illusions or a scary story teller.
