CALLING ALL SINGERS & MUSICIANS, AGES 11-18*
“SOUND WAVE”
SHOW CHOIR AUDITIONS

Enjoy the movies? Love how a song can really “make” a movie? Fort Lauderdale Children’s Theatre’s show choir, Sound Wave, will be performing memorable songs from popular movies!
The selected group will create short films, condition their bodies for extensive singing and dancing routines and compete in a fitness event, audition to perform at Disney World and perform various times from December 2012 through February 2013.
Sound Wave focuses on vocal and harmonic training and developing stylistic choreography. Students who can fully commit to the process are encouraged to audition.
Sound Wave runs September 19, 2012 - January 16, 2013 on Sundays from 5-8pm and Wednesdays from 6-9pm. Optional Monday classes will be available on an as-needed basis. Tech week is January 20 – 24, 2013 and performances are January 25-27 and February 1-3, 2013. Disney and other additional performances are possible.
Please prepare a 1-minute song that demonstrates your vocal range and has a message that you can convey through acting and emoting the song. Be prepared to sing and dance to additional material provided.
Singing musicians needed: drummer, guitarist, pianist, bassist & others.
