12th Annual Phyzgig Festival in Portland, ME!

Acorn Productions seeks variety entertainers for its twelfth annual Phyzgig Festival, a celebration of the spirit of vaudeville taking place in downtown Portland, Maine between Christmas and New Year’s Eve 2009. Phyzgig consists of two series of events: Phyzkidz, daytime matinees for children at SPACE Gallery, an alternative arts venue on Congress Street, and full-length vaudeville shows at the Portland Performing Arts Center, in which five performers showcase ten to twenty minutes of their material along with a live band. Additionally, this year’s Phyzgig festival will include a cabaret-style show for more adult-oriented audiences.
