25th Cabbagetown Festival - Performers Needed! TORONTO SEPT 8-9 2001
If you would be interested in working at the 25th Cabbagetown Festival (in
Toronto, Ontario, Canada) on September 8th and 10th, please respond. As
this is our silver anniversary we're looking to fill the streets with activity!
The street fair takes place on Parliament Street between Gerrard and Wellesley
and we need perfomers (tentatively) between the hours of 11am and 5pm on both
days. This festival draws about 100,000 people, and shares traffic with the hugely
popular Riverdale Art and Crafts show.
I would be greatly appreciative of any information you can send me. Your rates, or
the names of any other performers would be wonderful. We are looking for balloon
twisters, magicians, jugglers, mimes, clowns, stilt-walkers and all other types of
colourful, fun, interesting and entertaining performers.
We're interested in knowing what your rates are. Since this festival is organized
by a non-profit organization, we'd prefer to work with performers who work on an
honorarium, but we're open to discussion.
