Requesting interests for a China gig in late July thru early August.
10 days in Dalian. International Performance Festival.
I am designing, choreographing and producing a nightly 20 minute aerial firework and staged choreo'd pyro/fire/circus skilled show. With a live all female band also capable of playing amongst the sparks.
Cast of 8 required. Plus 3-4 muso's.
Subject to change as it is China!
Asking for submissions from peeps with a three fireskilled medium in their tricks and fire eating and breathing don't count!!! This isn't a showcase or solo act installed in a variety. This is a full musical timed visual fireshow.
Club Swinging, poi, juggling, body burns, fire-stilts (jumping or Chinese peg) a very safe minded zen healthy attitude as the stage will be rigged with fireworks. The Chinese kind. Not the typical Le Maitre or MP effects I would prefer are available to me. Right now only Zippo is available for fluids in Asia.
All flights, hotel, food paid.
Fees TBD on experience and availability.
Contracted, insured, and paid before you perform on site.
The events are very challenging and still very cultural as the Chinese are amazing responsive crowds and this festival is huge. Thousands will arrive daily...Located on the ocean, very near central Dalian. Beijing would be the fly in city, which opens up the possibilites for foto-ops at the Great Wall before departure.
Will be running rehearsels early July in Chicago and also in Somerset England at SunriseCelebration Festival on Solstice weekend June 17th-ish...
