Comedy Horror TV show needs actors and script writers
Campy, Cheesy, Horror TV show needs script writers and actors! The producer can't do everything!
This is an internship designed to help students of film/TV/journalism gain writing experience and acting experience in a real life situation. The script will be monitored and given feedback so you can grow in your skills and have a pretty nice resume listing. You will work very closely with the producer. Creative licsence will be given but certain guidlines MUST be followed, IE: no nudity, no profanity, no drinking scenes or implied sex scenes. This is a campy, over the top comedy and can push the boundaries in a PG-13 kind of way. It is necessary that you have email and check it regularly. The producer would be contacting daily on some weeks.
Writers Skills:
Ability to write well under pressure, ability to produce a script a month, takes direction and critisism well, adheeres to the guidlines of the show. Must know how to write dialogue.
Actors Skills:
Must have email, ability to learn lines fast (2 weeks), ability to improv or adlib, willingness to be made into any character the script calls for.
NON PAID Internship. This show airs all over California on Comcast Cable. We shoot monthly in Fremont, shooting 2 shows per month. Writers would put in as many days per wekk it takes to write and revise the script. Actors would put in about 4-5 days per month. We shoot on Mondays and Tuesdays during the day, lunch is provided. Reheasals are usually tailored to the actors' availablity.
